In Celebration of

Aivaras Zabas

October 10, 1992 -  October 2, 2025

It is with unimaginable sorrow that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of our beloved son, Aivaras, who lost his life in a motorcycle accident on October 2, 2025, at the age of 32.

Aivaras was a kind, thoughtful, and deeply loved young man whose life was filled with passion and humor. He touched many lives with his warmth, sincerity, and vibrant spirit. Whether he was pursuing his interests, supporting those around him, or simply being himself, he brought light and love into every room he entered.

Aivaras proudly served his country as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces.

He leaves behind his loving mother Jolita, father Vilmantas, brother Evaldas (Kaitlin), and his adored little nephew Vejas Atlas who brought him so much joy. He is survived by his cherished wife Diana whose bond with him was filled with deep affection and mutual respect.

Though far away, his family in Lithuania holds his memory close to their hearts. His cousin Erika and her children Reina and Eidanas, cousin Skirmantas (Lina), and their children Deimantas and Olivija, his aunt Neringa (Albertas) and grandparents Regina and Vacys share their grief across every distance.

Aivaras will forever be remembered for the love he gave to his family, the laughter he shared, his strong sense of duty, and the beautiful soul he was. His absence leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of those who loved him.

Visitation will be held at Turner & Porter Peel Chapel, 2180 Hurontario St. (N of QEW, on West Side, you can enter from Bronte College Court), Mississauga, on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 4-8 p.m.

Visitation continues at the Roman Catholic Church of the Resurrection, 1 Resurrection Rd., (at Bloor St.), Etobicoke. on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 visitation from 10-11am, followed by a Funeral Mass to Celebrate Aivaras’ Life at 11am.

A Private entombment to occur at a later date.

Rest peacefully, dear Aivaras. You will forever remain in our hearts.
