In Celebration of

Adolf Seger

May 12, 1934 -  July 28, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Adolf (Adi) Seger.

Cherished husband of Ulla. Predeceased by parents Katharina and Josef, siblings Anna, Josef (Seppi), Otto, Willibald (Willi), Karolina (Lina), Thekla; survived by Elisabeth (Luise), Frieda, Johann (Hans), Walburga (Walli) and Otto.

Born in Gaimersheim, Germany, Adolf moved to Canada at the young age of 17 leaving his parents and many brothers and sisters behind. Soon after moving to Canada Adolf met the love of his life, Ulla. Adolf and Ulla built a happy life together, celebrating their 63rd wedding anniversary in March of this year.

Adolf was recognized for his 35 years of leadership and dedicated service to King Products Inc. and retired in 1999.

Together the couple was blessed with two beautiful daughters: Doris (Bill), Linda (Danny); five grandchildren: Corey (Jen), Craig (Ashley), Carina, Kyle (Sarah) and Kristin (Nikola); three great- grandchildren: Chantelle, Charlotte, Luka and two great -grandchildren on the way (both due in September).

Adolf was one of the most loving men and always put his family’s needs before his own. He was very kind hearted and witty, with a “cup-is-half-full” outlook. He loved to host gatherings and see his loved ones
happy. He took great pride in everything he did. His kind heart, guidance and gentle spirit will be greatly missed and forever cherished. We love you Adi, Daddy, Opa, Tick Tack Opa. XO

A private Funeral Service will be held at the Turner & Porter “Peel” Chapel, with an interment at Streetsville Cemetery.

If desired, memorial donations may be made to the The Salvation Army.

Online Condolences may be made through www.turnerporter.ca

To my Opa. I've never known a life without you. This doesn't feel real. I love you SO much and I am thankful for all the time we were able to share together. Thank you for all of your unconditional love, generosity and ongoing support. I hope your new angel wings will take you to see all the places and people you have loved throughout your life. I know that you will be watching over and protecting us all. Until we meet again. With love, Your Mousie. xo

Adolf was a pivotal member or my family's business, King Products. He was the reason we produced such innovative products, as he was constantly relied on to provide solutions to challenging manufacturing issues. He was a very nice man and a true pleasure to work with each and every day. Adolph and I spent a week together in Germany when we were looking for a CNC routing machine for the factory. I got to meet his family while we were there, which was a lot of fun and a very special memory for me.

Adolf was a very special man and he will be truly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Adolf’s passing. Working with him was a great pleasure and inspiring. He always had problem solving ideas to make a better product at King Products. I look back to fond memories and fun times that we had as a group of workers.

Cecilia and I are keeping Adolf and his family in our prayers during this sad time.
