In Celebration of

Adam Centofanti

March 27, 1937 -  June 16, 2025

Adam Centofanti was born on March 27, 1937 in Introdacqua, Italy to Giuseppe and Maria Centofanti. Adam passed away peacefully with his loving wife by his side on June 16, 2025.

Adam was the beloved husband to Gina Centofanti (nee Primavera) for 65 years. Devoted father to Carla (David), Mary (Jeff) and Frank. Proud Nonno to Johnny (Victoria), David, Adam and Emma. Great Nonno to Joshua and Brayden.

Adam was predeceased by an older brother Frank. His younger brother Orazio (Carmela) was very devoted to him up until his last day on earth. Adam also enjoyed the relationship he had with Sister-In-Law Lina Dibernardo (Vince deceased) and Joe Primavera deceased (Elvira deceased)

Adam worked very hard all his life to provide for his family. He was very generous to his children and grandchildren.

Most of his working years were spent as a welder at the Ford Motor Company where he formed friendships that continued for decades.

One of his great passions was spending time in his beautiful vegetable garden. He was well known in the neighbourhood for sharing his bountiful harvests. You could not leave the Centofanti home without a bag of fresh produce!

When not in the garden he could very often be seen walking in the neighbourhood and, although he may no longer walk among us, his presence will never leave our hearts.

He will be forever loved and missed.

Adam was truly a kind hard working man as well a walking miracle. He did what they said he couldn’t. Christmas, New Year, his birthday, her birthday, their anniversary, and Father’s Day.
His wife Gina is a beautiful and kind woman who was there for him every step of the way. Their family Carla, Mary and Frank were united in helping in every way possible. They truly are a beautiful family.

A great neighbour for over 50 years. Will be missed by many of us "old timers".
