In Celebration of

Abbey Elizabeth Tran

November 28, 2008 -  May 1, 2018

Everyone who had the honour of knowing Abbey, knows she is a light and an energy that can never be dimmed.

Abbey is a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, great-granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend to so many.

She is an adventurer... she traveled around the world and had an ever growing list of places, foods, languages and cultures she wanted to explore next.

She is an athlete... hockey, baseball, karate, golf, basketball, swimming, dance, cycling... she wanted to try everything, she excelled at them all with natural ease, she played for the love of the games and lead others with her positivity and perseverance.

She is an artist ... guitar player, visual arts, writer of stories, poems and endless love letters to her family and friends.

She is an advocate... a compassionate heart and voice for anyone who she could help, thoughtful and building a fire inside her to fight for injustices.

She is brave and strong in as much as she is soft, kind and loving. She is honest. She is courageous. She is humble and confident, gracious and bold.

If you were so lucky to be loved by Abbey, you know what a joy, what a privilege, what magic it is to know her. She is our world. She is love. She is joy.

She always will be.

“All the shines of a thousand spotlights and all the stars that we steal from the night skies will never be enough....” Abbey is a light in the world that can never be replaced. We are saddened and broken over your loss and extend our thoughts and love to you now, tomorrow, the next day, and for as long as you need. Sometimes even the most valiant warriors fall victim to the enemy. Abbey was a valiant and mighty warrior and it is not fair this was the outcome. She is so loved.
